Watch Music TV on your PC
One of the best things that you can use your PC TV software for is enjoying music television. The music stations are some of the best quality ones available and there's always something on worth watching.

Online TV Network offers around 100 different music channels in it's range. And other programs have similar stations. And whether you like classic rock, reggae, or are into something else, there's loads here to enjoy.

The first thing to know about watching music TV online is that you can't get MTV. No biggie. Seriously. There are stations with different names that do an equally great job. You can watch the latest videos for tracks that aren't even out yet. As well as old favourites.

So what's the sound quality like?

It's not quite CD quality (because it has to be compressed for broadcast over the web) but it sounds great. The audio quality is fine. You can listen to the stations through headphones, or through your PC speakers without problems.

Go full screen

The higher quality stations look excellent running at full screen. Give yourself a break from work and fire up your PC TV software, find a station you like and hit full screen. This really is a great use for PC TV.

You'll generally find stations that fall into 3 categories: extremely weird, some you won't ever watch again, and some high quality stations you'll come back to again and again. If you like watching music TV, you really will love this.

So be bold and try all the stations for yourself.

The next thing you need to know is you can get a much wider variety of music with PC TV than you can with subscription satellite or cable TV. If you're interested in different kinds of music, and music from other countries, you'll get a real kick out of this.

As well as the MTV-type stations, there's also stuff like African Hit, which features African only music. You'll get to experience tracks you've never heard before. Broaden your mind and try out some foreign stations. You might be surprised.

Getting access to the stations

I'm going to show you how to get music TV on my favourite tool: PC Show Buzz. I know I go on about this software but it really is a great little tool. Here, it also strips the ads from some stations, making for a better viewing experience.

1) Start the software.

2) In the top right panels, select Music in the Genre section.

3) A list of music stations will show up.

4) Double click on a station that you like the sound of.

5) Double click on the video when it starts to go full screen. Kick back and relax.

So what's good to watch?

There's really too much good stuff to mention here, but here's a starter. This is my run down of some stations you should check out.

E-Music Television

This is a great MTV-esque station that features the latest music videos, one after the other. The quality is really good - even at full screen.

OnTopTV

Features the best in rap, RnB and HipHop. Perfect quality audio and video here. All the latest videos and the big name stars.

Deluxe Music TV

Offering more relaxing music and especially older classics. Good quality audio and video stream here.

Iteria TV: Dance

The usual dance affair: pretty girls and hot tracks. Also check out the Ministry of Sound station, which features dance music news & interviews with DJs.

An excellent station for anyone into pop, hip hop and RnB.

I hope you enjoyed this guide and good luck finding other music stations you enjoy!
