You can watch PC TV free, right?
I stumbled onto a page on the web yesterday where a number of people were discussing how you could watch many Internet TV channels for free. Without buying any of the products listed and reviewed on sites like mine.

What do I think about this? I think they're probably right. I even went to one of the links where you could watch these videos. Here's the link that was posted: http://www.lyngsat.com/

Wow - it looked pretty impressive. There were loads of stations listed there. But I must be really dumb because after about 10 minutes of frustrating reading and clicking around, I still hadn't managed to watch a single TV program.

This is a totally different experience to when I installed PC Show Buzz for the first time.  It was super-easy to get started watching the channels because all you have to do is click on a station and press play.

Maybe someone with more computer-savvy than me can figure out how sites like LingSat work. If you do find out how to get PC TV for free - please let me know.

But here's my thinking. Even if I could get every TV channel available for free on a website like this, $29.95 isn't a huge amount to pay for a god way to organize all those stations.

Granted, Satellite TV For PC doesn't do a great job of letting you sort your channels, but PC Show Buzz offers loads of ways to sort and organize stations. That software is genuinnely a lot of fun to use.

Don't get me wrong - I love a free lunch as much as the next guy. But I also beleive in paying money to get a product that saves me some time. For now I'll stick with my PC TV Software thanks!
